The mission of Rockville Open House (ROH) is to provide a fully supervised gathering and safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, or inter-sex (LGBTQQI) Jewish teens, and their friends and allies, between the ages of 13-18 years old.
With the assistance and guidance of the staff at Keshet, and with the support of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washingtion (JCCGW), ROH opened in April, 2010.

Rockville Open House is supervised by Rabbi Sarah Meytin, Leah Schwartz, Josh Martin, and Kate Falls.
Rabbi Meytin is an openly queer Reform rabbi. She is the Assistant Director at Gan HaYeled, the preschool at Adas Israel Congregation in Cleveland Park. She was a 10th grade/ Confirmation teacher at local synagogues for seven years and is currently the coordinator of the Hebrew Home's teen philanthropy program. She was also an appointed member of the Montgomery County Citizen's Advisory Committee on Family Life and Human Development. She and her wife live in Silver Spring with their two children.
Leah Schwartz is the Senior Director of Inclusion and Special Services at the Bender JCC of Greater Washington. She received her MSW from Yeshiva University and her BS from Towson University.
